The MCC women’s soccer team earned a third consecutive trip to the regional with a 1-0 victory over Lake Michigan College on Oct. 15. The Jayhawks are now 4-4 in the league and 7-5-1 overall. They host Schoolcraft College on Oct. 21.

Men’s Basketball

MCC sophomore forward Kyle Ervin Jr. has been named a 2016-17 NJCAA Div. II Men’s Basketball Third Team All-American. He averaged 21.7 points and 12 rebounds per game for the 22-7 Jayhawks, who captured the MCCAA Western Conference title and advanced to the NJCAA Region IX semifinals this season.
