  • Coaching at MCC:

    Coach Ritsema enters his sixth season as the head coach of the Muskegon Community College Men's Soccer program where he received the Michigan Community College Coach of the Year award in 2013. He has led the Jayhawks to 49 victories in five seasons and has qualified for Region XII postseason in four of those five seasons. Coach Ritsema's Jayhawks ended last season with a 4th place finish the Michigan Community College Athletic Association and 6th place finish in the Region XII regular season standings. He coached six players to NJCAA First Team All-Region XII status and five players as a NJCAA Second Team All-Region XII honoree for the 2011-2015 seasons. Twenty-two different players have received All-MCCAA recognition under Coach Ritsema's leadership.
