The Jayhawk Men’s Soccer team defeated Jackson College on the road by a final score of 1-0. Jake Wright (Garforth Academy, UK) scored the games loan goal. Justin Laus (Fruitport) recorded the win in goal with 6 saves. MCC continues their road trip with a game at Lakeland Community College in Kirtland, OH on Sunday, 10/1.

The Jayhawk Men’s Soccer team wrapped up a successful road trip with a 3-0 win over Lakeland Community College. Jake Wright (Garforth Academy, UK) scored twice for the Jayhawks. Alex Elliott (Lakeview) assisted on the first goal and Evan Markos (Marshall) assisted on the second goal. The Jayhawk Men’s Soccer team picked up a conference win over the home team at Marian University’s Ancilla College, 7-0. Jake Wright (Garforth Academy, UK) continued his goal scoring with 2 goals. Raul Ruiz (Sturgis) also scored twice with Ryan Laus (Fruitport), Jayson Janofski (Marshall), and Ibrahima Ndyia (Mona Shores) scoring as well. MCC also got a huge performance from the defensive unit to help preserve their 3rd straight shutout. MCC is now 3-2-1 in conference play and 6-3-1 overall.…

The Jayhawk Men’s Soccer team continued their string of shutout wins with a 7-0 victory at Lake Michigan College. Rukundo Emmanuel (Innovation Central) opened the scoring with an assist to Jayson Janofski (Marshall). Defensively the team only allowed 4 shots on goal with keeper Lucas Lobo (E.E. Prof. Ahr Picanco Barbosa de Alme, Brazil) making all 4 saves. The Muskegon Community College Men’s Soccer team lost to Grand Rapids Community College by a final of 2-0. GRCC scored their first goal at the 1:57 mark off a throw in then added a second goal before half time. Although the Jayhawks had a number of good chances to score, they couldn’t find the back of the net. MCC is now 5-3-1 in conference play and 8-4-1 overall.
