Wind Ensemble at Frauenthal Center

The Muskegon Community College 2018 Winter Concert, which highlights the wide variety of musical and vocal performance groups at the college, will take place at the Frauenthal Center in downtown Muskegon on Saturday, Feb. 24.

  • The MCC Wind Ensemble, conducted by MCC Music Director Daniel M. Meyers, will perform music by John Philip Sousa, Richard Wagner and Ralph Vaughn Williams.
  • The MCC Jazz Ensemble, directed by Tim Froncek, will play music by Miles Davis, Don Rayder and Paul Baker.
  • The College Singers, directed by James Hylen, will perform musical selections by John Rutter and Z. Randall Stroope.
  • The Honors Orchestra, directed by Philip DeYoung, will perform the music of Johannes Brahms and Antonin Dvorak.
