‘A Snapshot of Nepal’ Travelogue at MCC on April 14

Kathy Tosa in Nepal

The fascinating country of Nepal, nestled in the towering Himalaya Mountains between China and India and home to eight of the world’s 10 highest mountains, will be the subject of a travelogue on Thursday, April 14, at 12:30 p.m. at Muskegon Community College.

Kathy Tosa, the retired director of MCC International Studies Program, will present “A Snapshot of Nepal: Does ANSWER have the answer?”  Her talk, which is free and open to the public, will be held in the Blue and Gold Room.

Tosa will share her impressions of Nepal, which she visited last autumn both as a tourist and a volunteer for ANSWER Nepal, which is an organization dedicated to educating children from the lowest castes and providing them with real lifelong careers to become the vanguard for real change in Nepal.
