The End of the LineOctober 11 –The End of the Line (2009) Documentary filmmaker Rupert Murray examines the devastating effect that overfishing has had on the world’s fish populations and argues that drastic action must be taken to reverse these trends. The film, narrated by Ted Danson, is based on a book, The End of the Line, written by Charles Clover. In it, Clover, a former environment editor of the Daily Telegraph (London) and now a columnist on the Sunday Times (London), describes how modern fishing is destroying ocean ecosystems. He concludes that current worldwide fish consumption is unsustainable.
