Jayhawk 5K Run

The Jayhawk 5K, which is open to the public, will be run at the University Park Golf Course. The event is a part of the Muskegon Community College Cross Country Day, which includes a collegiate and high school invitational.  Medals awarded to Top three male and female Runners. Door Prizes are also included to all participants. The entry fee is $10 per person before Oct. 14 and includes a free MCC T-shirt. Registration is $15 per person on Oct. 15 and includes a free MCC T- shirt  Check-in and onsite registration begins at 11:15 a.m. Please park at Muskegon Community College or Olivet Evangelical Free Church,  2175 Marquette Ave.. and walk to the course. This event is not chip-timed, but a start/end clock will be on site. The women’s course record of 17:22 was set in 2014 by Amy Crymerman. The men’s course record of 16.08 was set in 2015 by Braxton Snuffer. The women’s Jayhawk 5K record of 24.35 was set in 2014 by Candice Hanson. The men’s Jayhawk 5K record of 18.54 was set in 2015 by Matt Jones.
