Metamorphoses

Based on the Myths of Ovid and originally written and directed by Tony Award winner Mary Zimmerman, Metamorphoses brings Ovid’s tales to stunning visual life. Set in and around a large pool of water onstage, Metamorphoses juxtaposes the ancient and the contemporary in both language and image to reflect the variety and persistence of narrative in the face of inevitable change.

Collegiates and College Singers Concert at Frauenthal Oct. 22

Two Muskegon Community College vocal groups, the Collegiates and the College Singers, will perform on Sunday afternoon, Oct. 22, at 3 p.m. at the Frauenthal Center in downtown Muskegon. Tickets are $7 for the general public and $2 for students. Directed by Nicholas Palmer, the College Singers will perform six selections. Following a brief intermission, the Collegiates, directed by Dr. Richard Rischar, will perform three pieces.
