How can Muskegon Community College better meet the needs of our community?

MCC President Dale Nesbary, along with members of the Strategic Planning committees, invite community members to participate in the college’s 2017-2022 strategic planning process. In January and early February, MCC will present and seek input on its upcoming strategic plan. The public is invited to share ideas while learning about strategic planning goals.

The “Listening Tour” forums, which all take place from 6-7 p.m., will be held at four different locations in Muskegon, Ottawa and Newaygo counties:

Thursday, January 19
MCC Lakeshore Fitness Center
900 W. Western, Muskegon MI

Monday, January 23
MCC Stevenson Center Room 1100
221 S. Quarterline Rd., Muskegon, MI

Wednesday, January 25
MCC Ottawa Center
422 Fulton St., Grand Haven MI

Tuesday, February 7
Newaygo County Regional Educational Service (NC RESA)
4747 W. 48th Street, Fremont, MI

The construction of MCC’s next five-year strategic plan is guided by the MCC Strategic Planning Steering Committee, a group of 16 individuals from the campus and the community.  The Steering Committee guides the work of six subcommittees with a total of more than 180 members.

The Muskegon Community College 2017-2022 Strategic Plan will be developed during the current academic year and will commence in July 2017.  Throughout the process, community input will be gathered via forums, surveys, and focus groups.
