MCC Strategic Planning Listening Tour Coming to Holland March 1

Holland Harbor Lighthouse

How can Muskegon Community College better meet the student and community needs in Holland?

MCC President Dale K. Nesbary, along with members of the Strategic Planning committees, invite Holland community members to participate in the College’s 2017-2022 strategic planning process. MCC will present and seek input on its upcoming strategic plan. The public is invited to share ideas while learning about MCC’s strategic planning goals.

The “MCC Listening Tour” has already held forums in Muskegon, Grand Haven and Fremont during January and February. The next forum takes place on Wednesday, March 1, from 6-7 p.m. at the GVSU Meijer Campus, 515 S. Waverly in Holland, MI.

The Muskegon Community College 2017-2022 Strategic Plan will be developed during the current academic year and will commence in July 2017.  Throughout the process, community input will be gathered via forums, surveys, and focus groups.

The construction of MCC’s next five-year strategic plan is guided by the MCC Strategic Planning Steering Committee, a group of 16 individuals from the campus and the community.  The Steering Committee guides the work of six subcommittees with a total of more than 180 members.
