Urban League Presents 16th Unity Breakfast at MCC

On Friday January 13, MCC is hosting the Urban League of Greater Muskegon as they present the 16th annual Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Unity Breakfast, which will feature keynote speaker Lenora Billings-Harris, author of “The Diversity Advantage: A Guide to Making Diversity Work”.

With more than twenty five years of experience in the public and private sectors, Lenora has developed a unique way of presenting sensitive topics in a fun, thought-provoking and non-judgmental way. Her interactive style and immediately applicable "how tos" have inspired audiences to invite her back again and again. She designs and delivers presentations that help facilitate diversity initiatives for Fortune 500 companies, professional associations, government agencies and educational institutions.

“We believe Lenora will provide a valuable perspective to business and organizations in the Muskegon area, as they strive to go beyond the dream of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.,” stated Ed Garner, Board Chair of the Urban League of Greater Muskegon, and CEO/President of Muskegon Area First.

The breakfast program runs from 7:30am – 9:00am with a book signing afterwards. Doors open at 7:15am. Tickets are $20 per person or $200 for a reserve table for 8 people.
