Back by popular demand, this year's keynote speaker is the Honorable Judge Sara Smolenski!
Judge Sara Smolenski is a Grand Rapids native. She earned an Associate of Arts Degree from Grand Rapids Junior College and a Bachelor of Arts Degree from the University of Michigan. In 1982, she earned a Juris Doctorate Degree from the Thomas M. Cooley Law School. She was elected to the bench in 1990. Judge Smolenski has not only earned a reputation among her peers as a distinguished judge, but also is a proven strong community leader spending countless hours outside of the courtroom as a legal advocate, contributor and activist for several non-profit groups and organizations. Judge Smolenski is a strong advocate for education. She believes education improves lives and our community. Don't miss her motivating speech! It's sure to be another year not to miss!
The Muskegon Lakeshore Chamber of Commerce fully supports Muskegon Community College in their active role to provide a quality event for Muskegon’s wide array of business professionals. The Chamber has partnered with the college to produce Professional Appreciation Day for a number of years and feels that the value, personal and professional development opportunities it provides to area professionals plays a vital role in the success of local businesses. This type of event provides them the opportunity to meet one another, learn from each other, and learn techniques and tactics to help grow their position or organization. We encourage as many Chamber members as possible to participate as an attendee, vendor or program presenter.
