Q: What is my new network account username?
A: It will be your first name and last name separated by a dot (.). Example - john.smith

 

Q: What will be my initial password ?
A: Your initial password will be first initial + last initial + student ID. Example - js0123456!

 

Q: How will I log in to a computer in a lab?
A: At the login prompt you will enter your username in the first text box, your password in the second text box, and MUSKEGONCC will already be in the third text box and you will click OK.

 

Q How will I check my MCC email?
A: Direct your Internet browser to http://www.muskegoncc.edu/email and login.

 

Q: How do I log in to my email account?
A: Enter your MCC college username in the first text box and your password in the second text box and click OK.

 

Q: How do I send and read my email?
A: Go to http://www.muskegoncc.edu/Include/OutlookWebAccessBasics.pdf for instructions on how to use Outlook Web Access.

 

Q: How to I access my home directory?
A: Once you have logged in to a lab computer you can select the My Computer icon on your desktop and your home directory will be listed as the H: drive.

 

Q: How to I access my home directory from off campus?
A: You can use any FTP software and access ftp.muskegoncc.edu using your network login information to access your home directory.
