Interest-Free Monthly Installment Plan

FACTS Payment Plan is only valid for the semester in which you sign up. It does not continue from semester to semester. You must sign up for it EACH SEMESTER, if that is how you choose to pay your tuition and fees.

Login into WebAdvisor, then click "FACTS Payment Plan."   You will be enrolling through eCashier. 

TO CHECK YOUR ACCOUNT

Login into My Payment Plan, using your user ID and password. If you have forgotten or misplaced yours, contact FACTS at 1-800-863-2287.

To help you meet your educational expenses, Muskegon Community College is pleased to offer FACTS as a convenient online payment option. Students who choose to use FACTS may select installment plans that are spread over several months, depending on the length of the semester. You can make payments from checking or savings accounts or by MasterCard or Discover credit cards. In addition to the variety of choices available, students also have the convenience of paying online as soon as he or she has registered.

The only cost to budget monthly payments through FACTS is a $25.00 per semester nonrefundable FACTS Enrollment Fee. If you wish to pay in full with E-Check instead of paying by credit card, there is only a $2.00 fee.

The payment is automatically deducted on the 20th of each month from a checking or savings account. You may also have your payment charged to your credit card. If you elect to use your credit card, only MasterCard, American Express or Discover Card may be used. Please note: Check, Debit, and ATM Cards may be returned unpaid due to daily limits restrictions imposed by your bank.

If your payment on the 20th is not successful, it will be reattempted on the 5th of the next month. Any time a payment is returned, you will receive notification from FACTS on how the returned payment will be handled. Your FACTS agreement will be processed until the balance owed is paid in full.

For each returned payment, FACTS assesses a $25.00 FACTS Returned Payment Fee. FACTS Returned Payment Fees are automatically deducted from the account you have provided. If your FACTS Returned Payment Fee is returned, it will be reattempted. FACTS Returned Payment Fees are payable to FACTS.

FACTS Enrollment Fees and Returned Payment Fees are subject to change in future academic years or semesters, unless otherwise agreed by FACTS Management Company and Muskegon Community College. Interest earned on all custodial funds held by FACTS is payable to FACTS Management Company.

How FACTS Works  

First you must register online through WebAdvisor.  Next in WebAdvisor, select the "Account Summary" option.  Review your schedule and statement for accuracy, then click on the "FACTS Payment Plan" under Financial Information.  You will be taken to FACTS Payment Plan portal.

After you click the "Pay by FACTS" button, the Payment Plan will lead you through the process of creating a FACTS agreement. You will need to have the following information available:

1. Student ID - If you do not know your Student id go to www.muskegoncc.edu/username.
2. The name, address, and e-mail address of the person responsible for making the paymentsInformation to create your FACTS Access CodeAccount Information for the person responsible for payment
3. If paying by automatic bank payment, you will need the bank name, telephone number, account number, and the bank routing number (most of this information is located on your check).
4. If paying by credit card, you will need the credit card number and expiration date.

Summer 2012 Registration
Enrollment on the Payment Plan is available beginning March 5, 2012
Full Payments may be made on the Payment Plan through May 18, 2012 

Fall 2012 Registration
Enrollment on the Payment Plan is available beginning April 1, 2012
Full Payments may be made on the Payment Plan through September 12, 2012

Winter 2013 Registration
Enrollment on the Payment Plan is available beginning November 1, 2012
Full Payments may be made on the Payment Plan through January 13, 2013

The Payment Plan is available on April 1, 2012 for FALL 2012
The Payment Plan is available on November 1, 2012 for WINTER 2013

You may budget your tuition and fees one of two ways:

1.   Automatic Bank Payment (ACH)—ACH payments are those payments you have authorized FACTS to process directly with your financial institution. It is simply a bank-to-bank transfer of funds that you have pre-approved for your expenses at MCC. Payments may be made from either your checking or savings account. Payments are processed on the 20th of each month and will continue until the balance is paid in full.

2.   Credit Card Option—Many payers have requested the option of charging their monthly tuition payment to their credit card. This enables you to take advantage of various bonus programs offered by your credit card company. If you elect to use this option, your monthly payment, along with a convenience fee, will be automatically charged to the credit card you designate. The convenience fee is in addition to the nonrefundable FACTS Enrollment Fee. Payments will be charged on the 20th of each month until the balance is paid in full. If you wish to use this option, you may enroll by registering online through eCashier. Credit card payments are processed by American Card Services, Inc.
