Public Remarks at Board Meetings
According to the Board of Trustees Policy Manual (Public Participation in Meetings--2.01.05), the Board of Trustees' meetings are required to be "open" to the public, and the Board shall grant time for the public to make statements to the Board.
If the statement will be longer than two minutes, the person wishing to make the statement must reserve time on the Board agenda by submitting a request in writing to the Board Chair 24 hours in advance of the meeting.
