Mentoring

All Muskegon Scholarship recipients will be paired with a mentor. This mentor will meet with the student on a regular basis to make sure they are getting the help and doing the work required to successfully transfer to a 4-year university.

The Muskegon Scholars program is encouraging all local scientists, engineers, and technologists, (including those who teach in these subject areas or retirees) to take advantage of this program to introduce these students to the fields of today and tomorrow. Those of us in the field, understand the dire importance of encouraging more talented youth to begin exploring studies in these fields.
