Richard Doctor
Richard teaches English and also coordinates the college's assessment program. He is a graduate of Wheaton College in Illinois, and earned his M.A. in English from the University of Illinois at Chicago Circle.
Richard usually teaches English 102, an introduction to literature and composition course, and urges students to read stories, poems, and plays for what they tell us about how to live good lives. Students who take Richard's classes often say, "You work hard, but you learn a lot."
