Becky Evans
Becky Evans began her career at Muskegon Community College as a student. After taking MCC's English 101 and 102 she decided, "That's the job for me!" She completed her Bachelor's degree in English and Communication in the secondary education curriculum at Western Michigan University and her Master's degree in Communication from WMU.
Becky started teaching MCC English and Communication classes in 1988 and worked for the next ten years in the English Department and College Success Center. After three years of teaching for Baker College, Becky returned as a full-time English instructor at MCC in the fall of 2002.
Becky believes that competence in reading, writing, speaking, and listening will help students reach all the goals in their lives, both professional and personal. She teaches these skills with passion and energy in her composition and communication classes.
When not grading papers, Becky enjoys beautiful West Michigan with her husband and two children.
