Mary Tyler teaches the Literature of William Shakespeare, Creative Writing, Poetry Writing, Introduction to Poetry, Film, and English 102. She is also the chairperson for the Muskegon Writers' Center. Mary earned a Bachelor's degree in English from the University of Michigan, a Master's in English from WesternMichiganUniversity, and a Master of Fine Arts (MFA) degree in Creative Writing from WesternMichiganUniversity. She has been teaching at MCC since 1991.
Mary has three children and lives in North Muskegon with her husband and two beautiful collies named Charlie Girl and Guinness.
