Performance Based Scholarship
Congratulations to our 2011-2012 PBS winners! They are Brett Meerman of Coopersville High School and Nicole Walsworth of Holton High School.
The Muskegon Community College Health, Physical Education, and Recreation Department is actively recruiting college freshman interested in a career related to HEALTH (health teachers/athletic training only), PHYSICAL EDUCATION, and/or RECREATION. This is an academic recruitment program rather than an athletic tender program. Under the HEALTH, PHYSICAL EDUCATION, AND RECREATION PERFORMANCE BASED SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM, we will be granting scholarships covering either full or partial tuition fees to qualified, incoming freshmen students. These scholarships will be awarded one semester at a time but are renewable for up to 62 credit hours.
Applications for this scholarship must be submitted to the MCC HPER Department no later than April 1, 2012. This may be done by filling out the Application and recommendation forms. Should you need additional information, please check our Questions and Answers, or call the HPER office at 777-0385.
