WebAdvisor Error Messages

I do not know my Username and/or Student #.

Your Username is the same for WebAdvisor, network login, and MCC email account. If you do not know your Username or Student # click on What's My Username and ID. This also available on the WebAdvisor page. If you have not attended MCC in the last five years, you will need to complete a Readmit Form first. Processing takes 2-3 days.  (back to top)

 

You entered an invalid Username or password. Please try again.

Your Password is the same for WebAdvisor, network login, and MCC email account. If you receive this error message, do not know your Password, or want to reset your Password go to the WebAdvisor home page and click on What's My Password. These are also available on the WebAdvisor page. Your account has been disabled due to too many incorrect login attempts. Please contact your system administrator.

Reapply on-line at www.muskegoncc.edu/pages/465.asp.

 You did not login to WebAdvisor or a timeout of your session has occured. You must login to WebAdvisor. (back to top)

Registration not allowed in UG courses without an academic program.

 You are not enrolled in an active program or your program start date is after the semester start date of which you are trying to register. Please complete a new program form or contact 231-777-0250. (back to top)

Student does not pass eligibility rules setup for this registration.

This is a generic student restriction message regarding registration holds such as delinquent accounts, academic probation, academic dismissal, etc. (back to top)

Student is not allowed to register before "1:00 PM on 7/9/10."

You may register at or any time after, your designated time during priority registration. (back to top)

Student "0000000" has no registration priority - Term Fall 2010 requires one.

You must be registered for Winter in order to register during Priority Registration for Summer or Fall.  You must be registered for Fall in order to register during Priority Registration for Winter. (back to top)

You can't place "ENG-101-F01" on the schedule at this time.

You are attempting to register for a class from a past semester or for a future semester that registration is not available at this time.  For example, you cannot register for Fall 2010 before Priority Registration begins. (back to top)

Registration not allowed for the add-time period.

You are attempting to register for a class that has already started or the start date is the same as when you are trying to register. If you are trying to register on Monday, January 11 at 8:00 am for a class that begins on Monday, January 11 at 12:00 p.m. and there are open seats, you must register in person at the Student Assistance Counter, before the class begins. Once a class begins, you must request instructor permission to register. (back to top)

Course section record not found or does not have an active status.

The course section has been canceled or placed on hold. (back to top)

No classes meeting the search criteria have been found.

You have entered the class information incorrectly. Only the term and subject are required. Do not select a course level. The course number should be only the number - for MATH 036A select Mathematics as the subject and type "036A" as the Course Number. If you know the section number, you can enter it in the Section Number box. If you still get the error message, leave section blank. The search results returned will bring all sections of the course number you entered. (back to top)

Course "MATH-050" Prerequisites have not been started.

Prerequisites for the course have not been started.  You must complete or at least be registered in the previous semester for the prerequisite(s) in order to register. (back to top)"

Course "ENG-101" Prerequisites are in progress (Partially Complete).

Only one of the prerequisites has been completed. Registration is not allowed.  If you believe this is incorrect, please call 231-777-0250. (back to top) 

Section "BUS-101-F02" conflicts with section "ASTR-101-F01". 

You are attempting to register for two classes that are at the same time or the times conflict. (back to top)

Registration in "PSYC-201-F12" puts student in overload for "Fall 2010".

Make an appointment with a counselor to get permission to enroll for more than 18 credit hours in a 15-week semester. (back to top)
