Windows 7 Pilot

A part of a Windows 7 pilot program, nearly half of MCC’s 700 student computers were upgraded to Windows 7 this summer in preparation for Fall semester.  Actual locations include Library open lab areas Information Commons and Research Access; Library classrooms L163, L261, L263, L361, and L363; Stevenson Center classrooms 1206, 1210, and 1300; and classrooms 146, 162, 244, 244-1 and 340 in the main building.

Windows 7 is Microsoft’s latest desktop operating system, designed to make computing simpler with an improved interface, faster searches, and a modern look and feel. General information about Windows 7 can be found on Microsoft’s website here.
