Bachelor & Master Degrees on the MCC Campus -- Stevenson Center for Higher EducationIn addition to the many traditional transfer opportunities available to MCC students, the college also partners with six universities in unique programs allowing occupational students to transfer to a high quality baccalaureate program. See the individual college for details -- WMU, GVSU, and FSU (offices in Stevenson Center, Room 1106) can be completed on the MCC Campus. In all transfer programs, be sure to see an MCC counselor for details.
Ferris State UniversityMCC Campus Location: Room 1106, Stevenson Center for Higher Education, 231.777.0510 Ferris has partnered with MCC for many years and have seamless articulation into several programs. Students are able to enroll for up to three years of classes at MCC before transferring to one of the many Ferris sites, including Grand Rapids or Big Rapids, with some programs/courses offered fully online. Franklin UniversityFranklin currently offers 12 majors: Accounting, Applied Management, Business Administration, Computer Science, Digital Communication, Healthcare Management, Human Resources Management, Information Technology, Management, Management Information Sciences, Marketing, and Public Safety Management. Students will earn their Associates degree through MCC, and then finish their bachelor’s degree by simultaneously taking MCC courses and on-line courses through Franklin. Students can also continue their education at the graduate level through Franklin University’s 17-month on-line MBA. Kaplan Online UniversityKaplan University’s new site offers valuable information regarding academic degree programs, financial aid, and more. The site gives tours of an online classroom and also gives potential students the opportunity to research and compare the many programs Kaplan offers. Northwood UniversityManagement A unique 3 + 1 program exists between MCC and Northwood University. Students are able to enroll for three years of classes at MCC before transferring to Northwood’s Grand Rapids program for their senior year of study. Northwood University offers a Bachelor of Business Administration degree with an emphasis in Management. Western Michigan UniversityMCC Campus Location: Room 1106, Stevenson Center for Higher Education, 231.777.0500 BSE Manufacturing Engineering This degree is a cooperative partnership between MCC and WMU. All courses are offered in Muskegon and the entire degree can be completed in four years. Foundation and pre-engineering courses are offered by MCC, and manufacturing core classes are offered by WMU. Capella UniversityComputer Information Systems MCC and Capella University, located in Minneapolis, Minnesota, offer an innovative 2 + 2 online Bachelor’s degree in Computer Information Systems.
