Purpose
Participants will gain a better understanding of Muskegon Community College’s new business career programs, curriculum options, support services, and how these educational opportunities apply to high school students. The three-day intensive workshop examines emerging careers and the local training available for students in the areas of business, industrial/manufacturing technologies, health sciences, and more.
Who Should Attend
High school educators, such as counselors, teachers, special program directors, principals, and community education administrators, from Muskegon County, Ottawa County, Allegan County and Newaygo County.
Where
Muskegon Community College is located at 221 S. Quarterline Rd, Muskegon, MI 49442
When
Monday-Wednesday, June 18-20, 2012; participants can attend any or all of the sessions. Refer to agendas for time.
Cost
The three-day workshop is free of charge.
Continuing Education Credits (CEUs)
Participants must attend all three days to receive 1.7 CEUs. All participants must complete an online evaluation within thirty (30) days in order to receive their SB-CEUs. Please note that the State of Michigan requires a $2.50 processing fee.
