John has held positions in software development in companies ranging from utility services and insurance, to retail and education holding positions from applications developer, programmer analyst, project manager, network manager and supervisor.

John, a full time Computer Information Systems instructor for the Business Department has been teaching at MCC since 2006 and has over 30 years of experience in the field. Courses that John currently teaches include introductory courses, web development courses (sites and animation), .NET development courses, mobile applications and application level security


John has a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology from Ferris State University and a Master's degree in Education, also from Ferris State University.
