Muskegon Community College is grateful to the veterans who have kept our nation and others safe. Our Veterans Office serves all veterans, veteran dependents/survivors, and Reserve/National Guard personnel. We offer several different educational benefits to fit your needs. 

An accredited two-year college, MCC strives to make our veterans' transition to college as smooth as possible and to equip them with the knowledge and skills to attain their educational and career goals.

Unemployed Veterans Can Apply for Retraining Assistance Through VRAP

The Veterans Retraining Assistance Program (VRAP) for unemployed veterans is an initiative supported through the VOW to Hire Heroes Act of 2011. It provides retraining assistance to veterans experiencing difficulty in finding employment. The program is geared towards helping veterans receive education or training needed to strengthen and/or renew career skills for employment.
