Char Parker, full-time Computer Information Systems instructor and CIS Coordinator for the Business department, is currently in her eleventh year of teaching at MCC, with over 14 years of previous college teaching experience. She has a Bachelor's degree from Aquinas College, and a Master's degree from Western Michigan University, and regularly attends IBM training. Char teaches both introductory courses, computer programming and midrange computing courses, and handles MCC's affiliation with "IBM Power Systems Academic Initiative."
