Certification & Attendance Verification


A student eligible for VA Education Benefits is REQUIRED to complete an MCC Certification Request for each semester he or she want to use the benefits.

The Certification Request Form is now available in your MyMCC Student Portal. You must login to MyMCC to request certification of your classes.

Without a MCC certification form on file, the Veterans Office cannot complete school certification and VA will not issue payment for one’s registered classes.


Attendance Verification

Chapters 30, 1606 & 1607 – For required monthly attendance verification, please visit W.A.V.E. or call Veteran Affairs toll-free through Interactive Voice Response (IVR) telephone line at 1-877-823-2378

Chapters 33, 35 and 31 do not have to verify attendance monthly.
