The Jayhawk golf team finished in 2nd place by shooting a team score of 329 at Egypt Valley in the Grand Rapids Community College Invitational. MCC will return to the links on Friday, 4/19 when they travel to Jackson, MI to play Arbor Hills Golf Course in the Jackson College Invitational.

The Jayhawk Baseball team dropped two games at Cornerstone University, 6-5 and 13-1 (5 innings). They will host Delta College on Friday, 4/19 with a doubleheader that starts at 2:00 pm.

The Jayhawk Track & Field teams competed in windy conditions at Western Michigan University on Friday and Saturday, 4/12 and 4/13. They head to GVSU for the Al Owens Classic on Friday and Saturday, 4/19 and 4/20.

The Muskegon Community College Women’s Basketball Team lost to St. Clair County Community College 66-54 in the semi-finals of the NJCAA Region XII Tournament. MCC wraps up the 2023-2024 season with a 9-5 conference record, 16-13 overall.

The Jayhawk Men’s Basketball team closed out the 2023-2024 season with a 73-69 loss to Alpena Community College in the opening round of the NJCAA Region XII Tournament. The Jayhawks finished the 2023-2024 season with a 7-7 conference record, 11-17 overall.

The Jayhawk Wrestling Team wrapped up their season with 5 wrestlers qualifying to compete in the NJCAA National Championships in Council Bluffs, IA. Rice Robins (Holton) finished 2-2 for MCC. Also making the trip were Hunter Leonard, Joe Perez, Parker Holt and Caleb O’Neal.

Kyler Dean was the lone Jayhawk from the Men’s Cross Country team to compete in the NJCAA Division II National Championship in Huntsville, AL and he represented MCC in fine fashion with a 3rd place finish. He finishes the 2023-2024 season as an NJCAA All-American.
