  • A three-sport athlete at Reeths-Puffer High School, he had a career 155-22 wrestling record with 88 pins. A four-time GMAA City champion and All-State his final two seasons. Finished fifth at 130 pounds and third at 140 pounds.
  • At MCC, he had a 47-13 record and earned All-American honors at 149 pounds, finishing sixth in the nation as a freshman. He posted a 31-7 record as a sophomore wrestling at 149 pounds and 141 pounds.
  • At 149 pounds at Northern State University, he was 26-6 overall and fifth in the NCAA Super Region III Championships during his junior season. Senior year, he won the Super Regional III Championship, which put him ranked No. 2 in the country going into the National Tournament. Struggling through several injuries throughout the season, he ultimately fell in the blood round match. He went 28-9 as a Senior and a 101-28 overall career record against opponents in all Divisions.
