The Jayhawk Men’s Basketball team lost on the road to Delta College, 90-73.

MCC turned the ball over early which led to an early lead for the home team; the Jayhawks found themselves down by 8 early. They were able to rally to take the lead with about 3 minutes left but Delta took a 37-35 advantance into the locker room at the half. In the second half Delta rode the hot hand of #11 who finished with 41 points and MCC struggled with a poor shooting night. Ben Clark (Potter’s House) led the Jayhawks with 18 points, Jadakiss Lewis (Kalamazoo Central) finished with 15 points and Jacob Mueller (Charlevoix) had 14 points, 10 boards and 4 assists.

MCC is 4-4 in conference play and 8-13 overall. They host Alpena Community College on Saturday, 2/10 at 3:00 pm.
