The Muskegon Community College Men’s Basketball team defeated the host GRCC Raiders 87-77.

The Jayhawks played their most complete game of the season with a total team contribution from start to finish. They jumped out to an early 11 point lead but GRCC went on a run and MCC trailed at the half 46-40. In the 2nd half the two teams battled back and forth before MCC grabbed the lead for good and cruised to win. Jadakiss Lewis (Kalamazoo Central) led the Jayhawks with 21 points. Tate Stine (Montague) finished with 18 points and Jacob May (Ravenna) had a strong inside game with 14 points and 9 rebounds.

MCC is now 2-1 in conference play and 6-10 overall. They host North Central Michigan College on Saturday, 1/27 with tip off at 3:00 pm.
