The Jayhawk Men’s Basketball team lost to Mid Michigan College 98-70 on the road.

Muskegon started the game slow and they were unable to finish some baskets around the rim. They fell behind 17-4 early but a quick time out called by Coach Gifford helped them climb back to within 10 at the half, 46-36.  After a poor shooting half by both teams the Lakers were able to score consistently and MCC just couldn’t respond. Ben Clark (Potter’s House) led the team in scoring with 15 points on the night. Jacob Mueller (Charlevoix) chipped in with 11 points and Jadakiss Lewis (Kalamazoo Central) added 10 points.

MCC is 5-7 in conference play and 9-16 overall. They host Kirtland Community College on Saturday, 2/24 with tip off scheduled for 3:00 pm.
