The Muskegon Community College Jayhawks beat the JV team from Calvin University at home, 93-74.

The Jayhawks bounced back from their worst shooting performance by shooting  50% from the field, 35% from the 3 point line and 89% from the free throw line. MCC took a 51-31 lead into the locker room at half time, and Calvin wasn’t able to cut into the lead in the 2nd half. Vern Nash III (Muskegon) led all scorers with 35 points, 5 steals and 5 assists. Jarvin Graham (Perspectives Joslin Campus) scored 21 points, grabbed 7 boards and added 5 assists and 3 steals and Jacob May (Ravenna) was also in double digits with 16 points and 5 rebounds.

MCC’s record stands at 5-3 on the early season and they are off until Tuesday, 12/13 when they host Alma College JV at 7:00 pm.
