The Muskegon Community College Jayhawk Men’s Soccer team earned a hard fought 4-4 double overtime tie at #4 Heartland Community College.
MCC got single goals from Corne Boshoff (Australia) and Hayden Yaros (Mona Shores). Andrin Zumbuhl (Switzerland) picked up 2 goals. Assisting were Mauricio Chong (Mexico), Taichi Yamada (Japan) and Jakob Dickens (UK).
“Playing Heartland while they are ranked #4 in the nation was a great test for us,” said Head Coach Brent Kowalski”.
MCC remains 2-0 in conference play and moves to 2-3-1 overall. They return to the pitch with a home game (at Orchard View HS) vs. Jackson College on Wednesday, 9/8 at 2:00 pm.
