The Jayhawk Men’s Soccer team dropped a 3-0 decision to the league leading Schoolcraft College Ocelots.
The game was played mostly in the Jayhawk half of the field. The team was able to keep a great defensive shape for the first 45 mins. Even though MCC created a couple of scoring chances on breakaways, the couldn’t convert and the score was 0-0 at half time. MCC started well in the second half with two great chances to score from both Ibrahima Ndiaye (Mona Shores) and Isaac Saavedra (Dowagiac Union). Schoolcraft then went on to score 2 goals early in the second half, and the 3rd from a corner.
MCC is 4-3 overall. They return to action on Wednesday, 9/28 when they host Jackson College at Orchard View High School. Kick off is 2:00 pm.
