The Jayhawk Men’s Soccer team played to a 2-2 tie against the Chargers from Marian University’s Ancilla College.

The Jayhawks got on the board early in the first half with a goal from Ibrahima Ndiaye (Mona Shores) early in the first half off a cross from Alex Elliott (Lakeview) to go up 1-0. Ancilla then scored twice to go up 2-1 before a Jake Wright (UK) goal late in the first half tied the score at 2-2. Both teams missed multiple chances in the second half; neither team was able to put the ball in the back of the net.

MCC is 1-2-2 in conference play and 5-3-2 overall. They host Calvin University’s JV team on Saturday, 10/8 at 11:00 am at Muskegon Catholic Central High School.
