The Jayhawk Men’s Soccer team easily defeated the visiting team from Lake Michigan College by a score of 13-0 at Oakridge High School.

Leading the offensive onslaught was MCCAA Player of the Week, Jake Wright (Garforth Academy, UK), Jayson Janofski (Marshall) and Ryan Laus (Fruitport), each with 2 goals. Six other Jayhawks scored goals with Eduardo Verdugo (Spain) picking up 3 assists and Gavin Riksen (Western Michigan Christina) adding 2 assists.  The center backs of Moba Seshoka (Curro Thatchfield, S. Africa), Alex Owens (Northview), and Khaled Souza (Insituto Federal de Sao Paulo, Spain) only allowed 1 shot on goal for the Red Hawks.

MCC is now 1-1 in Conference play and 2-1 overall. They host Jackson College on Wednesday, 9/6 with a 2:00 pm start at Fruitport High School.
