The Muskegon Community College sent 5 athletes to compete at the NJCAA Division I Outdoor Track & Field National Championships in Hobbs, NM recently.
For the men’s team, Kyler Dean (Vicksburg) finished in 12th place in the Men’s 3000 Steeple Chase, earning him 2nd Team All-American honors. Zach Pray (Fruitport) was able to set a new MCC record for the 200m dash with a time of 21.53.
Karleigh Jeffries (Whitehall) finished in 12th in the Women’s Discus; she also earned 2nd Team All-American honors. Jeffries also finished 23rd in the Women’s Hammer Toss.
