The Jayhawk Women’s Basketball team made the most of the long trek to Bay College in Escanaba with a 56-28 victory.
MCC came into the Norse gym looking to get back into the win column after a tough one point loss on Wednesday. MCC held a 12 point lead at the half and extended it 15 after 3 quarters before catching fire and putting up 23 points in the 4th quarter. “It was a great win on the road today,” said Head Coach Jason Cooper. “With the tough emotional loss to Delta, this win was very important to our confidence. Ally Seiber (Reeths-Puffer) added 10 points, 9 rebounds and 2 blocks and Karleigh Jeffries (Whitehall) also scored 10 points.
