The Jayhawk Women’s Soccer team suffered a 3-0 defeat at the hands of the St. Clair County Community College Skippers.
MCC maintained possession and created opportunities, but could not finish while the Skippers capitalized on counter attacks. Isabella Cifuentes (Zeeland West) controlled much of the game while midfielders Emma Peterson (Montague), Brooke Bradley (Reeths-Puffer), and Lydia Sowles (Mona Shores) showed their work ethic in possession and distribution.
MCC is now 2-6-1 in conference play and 3-6-1 overall. They return to the pitch on Wednesday, 9/27 when they host Kellogg Community College at OVHS at 4:00 pm.
