Golf at Kirtland Community College
The Jayhawk Golf team shot 322 at the Kirtland Community College Invitational at the Grayling Country Club, led by Ben Zwick (Ludington) and Mitch Taylor (Mona Shores) who each shot 76. Nathan McNarland (Mona Shores) and Dyllen Bazzett (Newaygo) both shot 85 and Ross Sanford (Muskegon Catholic Central) shot 87. They are back in action on Friday, 9/29 when they travel to compete in the Delta College Invite at Bay Valley Golf Club.

The Jayhawk Golf team traveled to compete in the Delta College Invite at Bay Valley Golf Club; they finished in 3rd place with a team total of 312. Leading the way for the Jayhawks was Mitchell Taylor (Mona Shores) who shot 75. Dylan Lisman (Spring Lake), Dyllan Bazzett (Newaygo) and Ben Zwick (Ludington) all shot 79, and Nathan McNarland (Mona Shores) shot 87. Golf at Glen Oaks Community College
The Jayhawk Golf team wrapped up their fall schedule with a 4th place finish at the Glen Oaks Community College Fall Invite. The team shot 329 with Ben Zwick (Ludington) leading the way with a round of 77. Mitch Taylor (Mona Shores) shot 83, Tyler Tallefson (Reeths-Puffer) shot 84 and Dyllan Bazzett (Newaygo) shot 85. The team will continue the 2023-2024 season in April.

Golf at Garn Championship hosted by Spring Arbor
The Jayhawk Golf Team opened the spring season with a trip to Lexington, KY for the Garn Invitational, hosted by Spring Arbor. This course is extremly dificult and the conditions were less than ideal. Round 2 was halted due to darkness, but after 1 1/2 rounds Ben Zwick (Ludington) leads the Jayhawk contingent with a score of 83. The Muskegon Community College men’s golf team wrapped up action at the Garn Invitational, hosted by Spring Arbor at Keene Trace Golf Club in Lexington, KY. Dylan Lisman (Spring Lake) led with scores of 88 and 86 in round 2 and round 3. Ben Zwick (Ludington) shot 95 and 84, while Tyler Tallefson (Reeths-Puffer) shot 94 and 85. The Jayhawks will play Swan Lake Resort in Donaldson, IN on Friday, 4/5.

The Jayhawk golf team finished in 2nd place by shooting a team score of 329 at Egypt Valley in the Grand Rapids Community College Invitational. Ben Zwick (Ludington) shot 77, Mitch Taylor (Mona Shores) and Dylan Lisman (Spring Lake) each carded an 80, Nate McNarland (Mona Shores) shot 91 and Tyler Tallefson (Reeths-Puffer) shot 92. The Jayhawk Golfers finished in 4th place at Arbor Hills Golf Course at the Jackson College Invitational. Dylan Lisman (Spring Lake) led the Jayhawks today shooting 77. Tyler Tallefson (Reeths-Puffer) shot 80, Mitch Taylor (Mona Shores) and Dyllan Bazzett (Newaygo) each shot 85 and Ben Zwick (Ludington) shot 89. Ross Sandford (Muskegon Catholic Central) shot 88 competing as an individual. MCC hosts a number of other teams on Monday, 4/22 at Stonegate Golf Club in Twin Lake.

The Muskegon Community College Men’s Golf team captured second place in their own invitational played at Stonegate Golf Course. GRCC finished 1st with a 322, MCC shot 329.
