The Jayhawk Men’s Basketball team opened up the Mott Roundball Classic with a 72-57 loss to Schoolcraft College. The Jayhawk Men’s Basketball Team lost to #6 ranked Macomb Community College 107-47 on the opening night of the Skippers New Years Classic. Macomb took advantage of 11 Muskegon turnovers in the first half and the Jayhawks couldn’t stop the Monarch’s hot start as they shot 68% from the floor. The Muskegon Community College Men’s Basketball team lost 79-65 on the final day of the Skippers New Years Classic to host St. Clair County Community College. The Jayhawks struggled to score in the first half shooting only 30% from the field and 10% from the 3 point line. The Jayhawk Men’s Basketball team picked up an impressive 93-69 victory over Delta College in their home conference opener. MCC hasn’t played a home contest since early December and they were playing with a complete roster for the first time this season.
