Bowling at Ancilla College Invitational

The Jayhawks opened the 2021 bowling season with a 2nd place finish from the men’s team and a 3rd place finish from the women’s team at Quick Lanes in Plymouth, IN. For the men, a big congratulations goes out to Ethan May (Ravenna HS) for tournament high game honors with a 245. Bowling Home – Great Lakes Invitational at Northway Lanes

The Muskegon Community College bowling teams hosted the Jayhawk Great Lakes Classic at Northway Lanes.The Schoolcraft College men and the Mid Michigan College women topped the nine team field. The MCC men’s bowling team finished in 2nd place at the Jackson College Invite at University Lanes. The women’s team finished 3rd. The top finisher for the men’s team was Jonathan Garland (Grand Haven HS) who finished 3rd overall with scores of 234-172-244 for a fine 650. The MCC women’s and men’s bowling teams both placed third in their respective five-team Glen Oaks CC invitational matches on March 5 at South Lanes in Three Rivers, MI. Bowling at Kellogg Community College Invitational

The Jayhawk bowlers competed at the Kellogg Invite and both teams finished in 2nd place. The Men’s team was led by Ethan May (Ravenna HS) and Jonathan Garland (Grand Haven HS) who each shot a 529 series. Cory Gillett (Waypoint Academy) shot a 509 series. The Jayhawk Men’s bowling team competed in the Region XII bowling tournament at Royal Scot Lanes in Lansing, MI. The team finished in 4th place out of 8 teams. The Muskegon Community College Bowling teams wrapped up the 2020-2021 season by competing over 3 days at the NJCAA National Tournament at Royal Scot Lanes in Lansing, MI.
