Bowling-Marian University’s Ancilla College Invitational

The Jayhawk Men’s Bowling Team opened the 2023-2024 campaign with a 2nd place finish and the Women’s Team was 4th at the Marian University’s Ancilla College Invitational. Leading the way for the men’s squad was Chase Albright (Holton) who shot 562 and Emiliano Jaramillo (Muskegon) who shot 528. Mae Mabrito (Ravenna) was the high scorer for the Jayhawk Women with a 503. The teams will be in action on Friday, 1/12 when they host the Great Lakes Invitational at Northway…

The MCC Men’s Bowling team captured another 2nd place finish at the Montcalm Community College Invitational held at the Greenville Hot Spot. The Women’s team finished 5th. The Bowling teams competed at the MCCAA Conference Tournament held at Merri-Bowl Lanes in Livonia, MI. The top performer was Reagan Dykstra (Fruitport) who finished 2nd in “All Events”. The Jayhawk Bowling teams competed in the NJCAA Region XII tournament today at Royal Scott Lanes in Lansing, MI. The Men’s team took 5th place led by Chase Albright (Holton) with a total of 1493 pins followed by Kyle Sanderson (Spring Lake) with 1472 pins and Vaughn Luce (Ravenna) with 1465 pins. Bowling-MCCAA Baker Challenge hosted by Mid Michigan College

The Jayhawk Bowling teams headed to Riverwood Resort in Mt. Pleasant to compete in the MCCAA Baker Challenge hosted by Mid Michigan College. Each team bowled a total of 12 baker games and then were seeded into bracket play. The Jayhawk Women bowlers finished in 3rd place and the Men’s team finished in 5 place. Both teams will compete in the NJCAA National Tournament starting on Thursday, 2/29 at Royal Scot Lanes in Lansing, MI.

Bowling at NJCAA National Championship

The Jayhawk Men’s and Women’s Bowling teams competed at Royal Scot Lanes in Lansing, MI at the NJCAA National Championship. Raegan Dykstra (Fruitport) and Vaughn Luce (Ravenna) finished with the team high average for the weekend. “It was a tough 3 day grind and although we fell short of expectations, it was a great experience for our teams, which consists of 90% 1st year athletes.” said Head Coach Bill Bowen.
