Volleyball – Jayhawk Invitational at Reeths-Puffer High School
The Jayhawk Volleyball team defeated all 3 teams they faced in the Jayhawk Invitational at Reeths-Puffer High School. MCC beat Kellogg Community College 3-0, Kalamazoo Valley Community College 3-0 and Oakland Community College 3-0. MCC is now 7-1 in conference play and 24-6 overall. They travel to take on rival Grand Rapids Community College on Tuesday, 10/18 with a start time of 6:30 pm.

The Jayhawks traveled to Grand Rapids to take on the #12 ranked Grand Rapids Community College Raiders. GRCC was in 1st place with a perfect 9-0 record while MCC was a game back in the loss column with a 7-1 record. MCC came away with a hard fought 3-2 victory. Volleyball Home vs. Delta College
The Muskegon Community College Jayhawks closed out the regular season with a 3-0 home sweep of Delta College. Set scores were 25-13, 25-12, 25-17. With the win, MCC officially clinched a share of the MCCAA North Conference Championship. MCC finished with a conference record of 9-1 and overall record of 26-6. The Muskegon Community College Jayhawks won two matches to start the NJCAA Region XII Tournament at St. Clair County Community College. The Jayhawks defeated Oakland Community College 3-0 with set scores of 25-23, 25-19,25-19 and then beat Lake Michigan College 3-2 with set scores of 25-18, 21-25, 25-15, 23-25, 17-15. On the second day of competition at the NJCAA Region XII Volleyball Tournament the Jayhawks defeated Mott Community College 3-1 to advance to the Regional Finals. The Muskegon Community College Volleyball team defeated Oakland Community College for the second time in the NJCAA Region XII Tournament in straight sets to win the MCCAA B Region. Volleyball at NJCAA National Tournament vs. Bismarck State and Cape Fear Community College
On the second day of the NJCAA National Volleyball Tournament in Cedar Rapids, IA, the Jayhawks won twice in the consolation round. They defeated Bismarck State 3-1 and then Cape Fear Community College 3-0. They advance to face McHenry County College on Saturday, 11/19 at 11:00 pm.
