The Muskegon Community College women’s basketball team traveled to Jackson College and pulled out a 63-58 victory. Both teams struggled on offense in the first quarter, ending in a 10-10 tie. MCC continued to have trouble scoring as Jackson took a 23-18 lead at halftime. The MCC Women’s Basketball team took on the Lake Michigan College Red Hawks at home and ended the night with a 67-57 win. Muskegon Community College earned a 67-62 victory over Kellogg Community College to remain in the lead in the Western Conference. The Muskegon Community College Women’s Basketball Team defeated the Raiders from Grand Rapids Community College 53-47. The Jayhawk Women’s Basketball team defeated Kalamazoo Valley Community College at home 77-37. Unlike the past few games, MCC had good intensity and energy from the opening tip.
