The Muskegon Community College Women’s basketball team opened the 2019-2020 season with a victory over Grace Christian University in their home opener by a score of  65-55. The Muskegon Community College women’s basketball team traveled to Schoolcraft College to play the Lady Ocelots and pulled out a 72-67 victory. The Jayhawks led the entire first half, but in the second half, a combination of early season mistakes and increased intensity from the home team resulted in the Ocelots taking their first lead of the game about 5 minutes into the 3rd quarter. Muskegon Community College made the trip over to Cornerstone University for a contest with their JV team. Even though both teams had to play through early season mistakes, MCC pulled out the 55-46 victory. Muskegon Community College traveled to St. Clair County Community College for a pair of weekend games. They opened play with a defeat of the Cougars from Columbus State Community College 76-48 on Friday.
