Women’s Soccer at Delta College
The Women’s Soccer team dropped a 2-1 decision to the top ranked DIII team, Delta College. MCC is now 3-0 in conference play and 4-1 overall. They return to action on Wednesday, 9/8 with a home contest vs. Jackson College. Game time is 4:30 pm.

Volleyball at Delta College
The Muskegon Community College Volleyball team stayed undefeated in the conference with a dominating 3-0 win on the road over Delta College. Set scores were 25-11, 25-11, 25-12. Raegan Murphy (Montague) finished with 36 assists, Reilly Murphy (Montague) had 15 kills and Elena Vaara (Ludington) added 12 kills. The MCC Jayhawks earned a 0-0 tie against Delta College, who is ranked #2 in Division III. It was a strong team performance against a team who makes a habit of appearances in the DIII National Championship game. The Jayhawks lost a tough conference matchup at Delta College in overtime, 68-67. MCC started the game with a solid game plan, but they struggled to shut down the Pioneers.
