Women’s Soccer at Delta College
The Women’s Soccer team dropped a 2-1 decision to the top ranked DIII team, Delta College. MCC is now 3-0 in conference play and 4-1 overall. They return to action on Wednesday, 9/8 with a home contest vs. Jackson College. Game time is 4:30 pm.

Women’s Soccer at Delta College
The 13th ranked Muskegon Community College Jayhawks dropped a road game to the #2 Pioneers of Delta College (Division III) by a final score of 5-0. The first half of the game was an intense back and forth battle between the teams with Delta getting on the board with 30 seconds to play in the half. The Jayhawk Volleyball team lost 3-1 at Delta College. Set scores were 18-25, 17-25, 25-17, 18-25. MCC is now 7-3 in the Northern Conference and 14-17 overall. They host North Central Michigan College on Thursday, 10/19 at 6:30 pm.

Women’s Basketball at Delta College
The Jayhawk Women’s Basketball team lost a heartbreaker at Delta College, 69-68 to start the second half of the conference season. MCC played the game down 2 players due to injury and they started slow with Delta outscoring them 22-12 in the 1st quarter. Men’s Basketball at Delta College
The Jayhawk Men’s Basketball team lost on the road to Delta College, 90-73. MCC turned the ball over early which led to an early lead for the home team; the Jayhawks found themselves down by 8 early. They were able to rally to take the lead with about 3 minutes left but Delta took a 37-35 advantance into the locker room at the half. The Jayhawk Baseball team lost twice at Delta College, 9-6 and 10-3 for a season split. In the opener MCC pitching gave up a total of 8 walks and the defense committed 4 errors. Javanni Johnson (Mona Shores) was 2-3 at the plate. The MCC Softball team swept the season series from Delta College with 2 more wins, 4-1 in the opener and 10-5 in game 2.
