Homeschooled Dual Enrollment

1. Meet with the person that oversees your homeschool curriculum to discuss your interest in dual enrollment.

2. Apply to MCC – When completing the application, select Dual Enrollment as your admit type and High School Guest as your program.

3. Submit High School Transcript & Test Scores

4. Complete a Mandatory Dual Enrollment Orientation  

Please complete your orientation prior to the beginning of the semester you plan to attend classes.

6. Complete the Dual Enrollment Approval Form- This form is DUE at time of registration and is required each semester. The approval form will allow us to bill accordingly. If a completed approval form is not on file at the time tuition is due the student will be dropped from classes.

Before starting the form you must have your MCC Student Number and a parent/guardians email address.

7. Register for Classes

    • You are responsible for registering for the classes you intend to take.
    • If you belong to a partnership, be sure to register for the classes that have been approved by them and complete the form found under the High School Dual Enrollment button.
    • You can review how to register for classes through the Orientation registration video or view the written instructions here.

8. Get your MCC Student ID

Visit muskegoncc.edu/orientation for information on how to obtain your MCC student ID.

9. Get your Books!

    • If you belong to a partnership, please check with them to see if they will be paying for your books.
    • For instructions on how to view and pre-order the textbooks needed for your class, click here.

10. Prepare for Success!

    • Check your MCC email daily!
    • Make sure you know the MCC academic calendar for start dates, holiday breaks, and other important information.
    • Check out resources at MCC to help you be successful.
