‘An Evening with Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’ in Muskegon Oct. 5

Rev. Stephon Ferguson, who has captivated audiences of all ages worldwide, will breathe life into the words of the late Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. during his uplifting and inspirational performance on Thursday, Oct. 5, at 7 p.m. in the Frauenthal Center, 425 W. Western Ave., in downtown Muskegon.

Ferguson has raised eyebrows, brought chills and tears, and aroused the conscious of people of all ages, cultures and backgrounds by delivering dead-on, pitch perfect renditions of Dr. King’s speeches and sermons.

His mission is to share his gift with the world to help continue the legacy of Dr. King by not only performing King’s words, but more importantly, educating people about his philosophy of love, nonviolence, peace and unity to help bring about positive change.

Sponsored by the Muskegon Community College Center for Experiential Learning, the event is free and open to the general public but tickets are required. To secure a ticket, please visit the Frauenthal Center Box Office in downtown Muskegon or, beginning on Monday, Sept. 18, tickets also will be available in the MCC Social Sciences Department Office, Room 242, on the MCC main campus, 221 S. Quarterline Rd. There is a limit of four tickets per person.
